Shot with Kodak Gold 400 and printed at Gowanus Darkroom
Last night I made my first color prints at Gowanus Darkroom. I found this community studio space last month when I needed a darkroom to develop that efke IR film I had. They also do classes, and since I’ve never done any color film printing, I signed up for their color crash course. It was such an odd experience after years of doing B/W printing. Working in total darkness with a number of other people, yelling what you’re doing so you don’t run into someone (which of course you do). It was weird working with filters and having to wait for prints to finish processing before seeing any results, but I have to admit I love the cleanliness of the machine-aided process.
